Zak Australia and Hot Topic Australia are market leading suppliers to Australia’s largest national retailers. You will develop graphics in key product categories include Kids Dining, Lunch & Hydration products along with Cosmetics, Ceramics, Home Décor, and Seasonal Products.  

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, creative and outgoing Graphic Designer to join our in house team.

Reporting to the Design Manager, you will work on a variety of products from concept through to final art. We are looking for someone that is highly motivated, willing to learn and happy working in a busy, fast paced office environment. 

 To be successful in the role you will possess: 

• 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of Concept through to Finished Art process.
• A strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop. 
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines. 
• You’re a team player but you can also work autonomously. 
• Tertiary Education in Graphic Design.  
• The ability to design within guidelines and brand requirements. 
• A great work ethic and a can-do attitude.   
• Willingness to grow, learn, share skills and ideas in a collaborative team.
• Must be based in Melbourne with full Australian working rights.
• A passion for the products we develop.  
• Illustrative capabilities are a plus.
• Licensing experience is advantageous.
