Graphic Designer: Event Poster (Contract, $1,000 flat)

Canadian Film Fest | Remote | Event in Huntsville, ON

Preference given to Muskoka-Parry Sound residents

Canadian Film Fest is bringing a special one-night event to Huntsville, Ontario on September 29, and we're looking for a designer to create the poster announcing it.

We're a non-profit with a modest budget, and we're being upfront about it: this is a $1,000 flat fee for a tightly scoped project. Emerging designers are strongly encouraged to apply. If you're building your portfolio and want a festival credit, this is a good one.

Scope:

• One poster design, developed from a single agreed concept direction
• Print-ready file (CMYK, bleed) plus [two] social sizes
• One consolidated round of revisions
• All logos, typography, copy, credits, sponsor logos, and film stills (if required) supplied by us and locked before you start

What we're looking for

• A portfolio or samples showing an eye for composition - school work, personal projects, and spec pieces all count
• Comfort preparing files for print and digital
• Reliability on a short timeline

You do not need years of experience or a client list. Show us something you made that you're proud of.
