Role Summary: This role will be charged with leveraging knowledge of design principles, the Adobe Creative Cloud toolset, and Generative AI tools to conceptualize and develop high-quality, business-relevant imagery for all digital and print applications managed by Daon’s marketing department in a global capacity. This includes, but is not limited to, brand elements, websites, email, collateral, advertising, presentations, and trade show properties. The role will be expected to deliver high-quality, effective designs from creative brief to production with minimal direction, while also adapting easily when direction is provided. Remote applicants considered, applicants within local area of Daon's US office (Fairfax, VA) preferred. Role Responsibilities: Brand Development – Concept and develop brand imagery, within exiting parameters. Future development of the overall brand standards. Brand Support – Design and maintain all brand collateral including the development of iconography, diagrams, infographics, and similar graphical resources to support these and other applications. Creative Asset Development –Concept and create unique and effective materials to drive B2B lead generation including web ads, social graphics, infographics, and other front-line images. Digital Marketing Support – Design and build (in a CMS) email and landing page templates and provide all supporting imagery for these applications. Thought Leadership Support –Design and build multipage documents that include charts, graphs, diagrams, and infographics to support the message. Also provide graphic support article, blogs, and other web based content. Presentation Support – Design and build PowerPoint templates along with a library of graphical elements to support those templates. Support sales in refining their decks as needed. Trade Show Support – Design booth graphics for various international shows along with materials for distribution at the events. Website Support – Develop primary website imagery as well as images to support continual web content updates. Participate in the redesign of the corporate website. Motion Graphic Development (preferred) – Develop simple motion graphics like HTML5 ads, along with imagery for short form videos. Qualifications/Skills & Experience 3-5 years of relevant graphic design experience in the B2B space (required) - candidates will be asked to provide portfolio that highlights B2B work. Bachelor’s or technical degree in graphic design or similar (required) Strong understanding of graphic design principles (required) Full proficiency with the primary design applications in the Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator (required) General experience in prompting LLM based tools (Midjourney, Gemini, ChatGPT, Firefly) for developing imagery Ability to concept and create with minimal direction Understanding of marketing principles as they relate to design Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to effectively communicate their vision and guide understanding while readily integrating external input Experience in building emails and landing pages using a CMS like HubSpot (preferred) General knowledge of email/web design as it applies to responsive graphics (preferred) Skills in developing motion graphics (preferred) General video development skills with Adobe Premiere and/or AfterEffects (preferred) Daon is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
