YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • 1-3 Years experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrable technical skills and a passion for design
  • Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
  • Strong brand awareness and typography is a must
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and also Powerpoint
  • Experience using UI design tools such as Figma
  • Front-end coding skills, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are a bonus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • A portfolio showcasing your design skills is required.
    .LANGUAGE - excellent command of spoken and written English (C1-C2 level)
    EDUCATION - Bachelor’s Degree, subject: Graphic design or related field
Responsibilities

As a Graphic Designer, you will be tasked with translating our brand vision and objectives into captivating visual designs for use in presentations, printed documents, social media graphics, event materials, websites and more. You will be reporting to the Team Leader of Design, delivering design projects that support the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and its objectives.
You will also work closely with our digital marketing and web development teams to assist in the creation of engaging digital experiences across various platforms.
The Design team falls withing the Digital Strategy and Marketing unit, which is part of the Member Relations and Communications (MRC) department. The team is critical to the communication of our activities as an innovative, professional and influential organization. Our designers work with internal stakeholders to develop creative and innovative design concepts that improve the user experience and reputation of the EBU. You will also be expected to roll out templates, toolkits and the necessary training to the rest of the organization to elevate the level of visuals in our marketing materials.
