JOB SUMMARY:

The Graphic Designer is responsible for managing and driving all design-related activity, creating high-quality materials and graphic elements for both internal and client-facing projects. This role requires strong knowledge of design fundamentals and techniques to produce engaging visual assets such as logos, icons, signage, ads, and event materials. The Graphic Designer will collaborate across the marketing team and other departments to conceptualize and execute creative projects from start to finish, ensuring all outputs are cohesive, visually compelling, and aligned with the ECRS brand, image, and message. By bringing fresh ideas and design expertise, this role plays a critical part in promoting ECRS’ products, events, and overall company brand.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field and 1-2 years of design experience.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creativity and a range of design work (logos, icons, marketing collateral, digital and print) as well as demonstrating an excellent understanding of design principles and elements (typography, layout, color, hierarchy, etc.)
  • Experience with presentation design (PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote).
  • High proficiency in most common design programs: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects are a plus (we use the most recent Creative Cloud versions).
  • Experience with event and/or product photography, experience with creative web design (Word Press), animation, and illustration skills are a plus.
  • Ability to be creative within current brand standards for a consistent and engaging look and feel across all design projects.
  • Handles complex workloads while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; must be a proactive team player.
  • Ability to take ownership of a creative project from concept to completion.
  • Ability to take constructive criticism in stride.
Responsibilities
  • Use independent judgement to design and create graphic elements (photos, logos, icons, ads, etc.), upholding ECRS’ brand standards.
  • Complete various projects such as designing and creating graphics and signage for events, designing ad campaigns for print and web, branding new and existing products, and designing collateral and promotional materials.
  • Create digital and print marketing materials including but not limited to ads, brochures, social media assets, email graphics, website graphics, and event collateral.
  • Partner with product teams to design logos, icons, and other graphical elements that enhance product experiences.
  • Support the executive and sales teams by providing design support to polish proposals, pitch decks, and presentation materials for prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on brand storytelling through compelling visual design.
  • Ensure all design output is on-brand, consistent, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Stay current on design trends and tools to bring fresh, innovative ideas to projects.
  • Assists in proofing and editing Marketing content for accuracy.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Managing Director of Marketing.
