Description

The Graphic Designer will develop designs and visuals for a variety of marketing materials across all channels with the ability to work on creative concepts, in addition to assisting day-to-day operations.

Main roles & responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of overall marketing strategy to enhance the effectiveness of communications materials to build a strong brand.
  • Develop and execute creative concepts and ideas for HBMSU’s marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the teams to produce high-quality, visually appealing marketing materials, stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and techniques in smart learning and education.
  • Create graphics, videos, brochures, flyers, animation, illustration, presentation, webpage design, and other marketing materials to support HBMSU marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure that creative concepts align with the HBMSU’s messaging and branding guidelines.
  • Enhance the website visual content and designs to improve user experience in collaboration with the team.
  • Plan and execute the promotional activities and collaterals including print, digital media, exhibitions, events, displays, and other marketing collaterals requiring designing and branding.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of designs in marketing efforts for smart learning and education, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Adhere to internal and local information security and relevant health and safety laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Required qualification & skills

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

3 years of related graphic design experience.

EDUCATION AND/OR ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design, Arts, Liberals Arts, IT or related field.
  • Any design certification like Illustrator, Photoshop etc.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Proficiency in illustration, photography, photo retouching, web design.
  • Advanced technical skills: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Video editing and conversion tools
  • Artistic ability & creativity for designing eye-catching & effective graphics.
  • Understanding of design for both digital and printed media.
  • Excellent attention to detail and professional responsibility.
  • Capable of researching new designs, web development standards, trends and technologies.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, be meticulous, thorough and detail oriented, while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in PC skills.
  • Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English languages.
