Who The Client Is: The client is a print and signage company with over 25 years of experience, dedicated to producing eye-catching signs, standout designs, and high-quality prints that help businesses make a lasting impression. Operating across the North West region the team delivers exceptional results through advanced technology, premium materials, and expert craftsmanship. From striking outdoor signage to custom team apparel and promotional products, they provide creative solutions that bring brands to life with style and impact. Role Overview: We are looking for a graphic designer in the print and signage industry who creates visual concepts for products like signs, banners, brochures, and packaging by meeting with clients, using software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to design layouts, and preparing final files for production. Key responsibilities include translating client briefs into visual designs, ensuring brand consistency, preparing files for high-quality print, and sometimes assisting with the physical production or installation of signage. Key Responsibilities: Design and production: Conceptualize, design, and produce visual assets for a wide range of print and signage products, such as logos, banners, vehicle wraps, and promotional materials Technical file preparation: Prepare and pre-press final artwork files to ensure they are correct for the specific printing or signage production process, which requires a strong understanding of print specifications and file management. Brand consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all materials. Software proficiency: Use industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to create and edit designs. Collaboration: Work with other team members, such as production staff, account managers, and other designers, to meet project goals. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong design skills: A keen eye for layout, typography, color, and composition. Software expertise: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) essential Understanding of print production: Knowledge of the specific requirements for printing and signage production, including file formats, color spaces, and resolution. Attention to detail: Meticulous in reviewing designs for errors and ensuring accuracy before production. Time management: Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present ideas and collaborate with colleagues Work Arrangement & Expectations: This is a remote role that may be set up as either an independent contractor engagement or via an Independent Contractor, depending on client preferences and legal structure.
