KMS Tools & Equipment is a Canadian-owned and operated industrial distributor with 14 locations, an outside sales team serving major regions of BC and Alberta, and an active e-commerce website. We sell everything from power tools and welders to woodworking machinery, compressors, hand tools, shop equipment, and much more. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team.
We are seeking applicants for a full-time Graphic Designer position in our Marketing Department. As a Graphic Designer at KMS Tools, you will be responsible for following the company brand while producing a range of materials, including the KMS Tools monthly flyer, print materials, packaging, website designs, email campaigns, and social media content. The ability to manage the workflow of multiple projects, thrive in a production-based environment, meet deadlines, and apply your experience in both print and digital formats is essential.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat.
• Skilled in Google Workspace including Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Drive
• Work with a high level of attention to detail and organization.
• Strong ability to prioritize, plan, and multitask.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, friendly attitude.
• Thrives in an engaging, fun workplace.
• Driven to excel.
• Able to work independently, or as part of a team, with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to KMS Tools’ brand and style guidelines in all projects.
• Prepare layout, artwork, images & text for KMS Tools flyers, both print and digital.
• Perform quality checks on all work.
• Update website content, images, and product entries.
• Assist with other marketing department tasks as required.
• Communicate professionally and accurately with both customers and staff.
• Become proficient with our operating systems and various tools.
• Continually strive to gain applicable knowledge, attend training events and seminars, etc.
• Work hard to “get it done” and have fun doing so!
