LetsStopAIDS is a Canadian youth-HIV charity that focuses on HIV prevention and knowledge exchange by engaging young people and fostering leadership. Since 2004, we have been creating a global network of youth-HIV leaders.

ABOUT YOU:

We are looking for a Graphic Designer that doesn’t mind having their hands in all aspects of design and creative projects. We are looking for someone who is eager, versatile, determined, but also open-minded and collaborative to fit the LetsStopAIDS teamwork environment. The candidate will help work on a vast range of projects from social media to turning wireframes into innovative and user-friendly designs that reflect the values of LetsStopAIDS. The graphic designer will also assist with creating new design concepts and themes but should be willing/capable to work off set design concepts and styles and develop new media based on those guidelines. It’s important that the designer knows how to balance vector scalability and pixel perfection.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must provide a portfolio of recent work (website, dribbble, behance etc)
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and layout.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and Figma
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team in a very fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to receive and implement feedback.
• Experience with motion graphics or video editing (After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a plus.
• Experience of UI Design and basic web design skills is a plus.
  Dedication: The role is a 6 month contract position, full-time, 5 full days per week. This is an in-person role at our LetsStopAIDS HQ Downtown Toronto location.

• Design and produce visual content for digital platforms (social media, website, email campaigns, etc.) and print materials (brochures, posters, reports, event collateral, etc.).
• Collaborate with the marketing, social media, and content teams to develop creative assets that align with our branding and programmatic objectives.
• Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all visual communications.
• Edit and design assets, graphics, and layouts using Adobe Creative Suite or Figma.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high design standards.
• Prepare final artwork for production and coordinate with vendors when necessary.
• Experience in working with print vendors, and other suppliers is a plus.
