…should become part of our corporate communications for a year!
Our graphic designer is going on parental leave – and we are looking for an experienced replacement to support our team for one year, starting January 1, 2027 .
Variety:
You design and produce a wide range of communication materials – from brochures, flyers, magazines and advertisements to roll-ups and trade fair materials, as well as presentations.
In this role, you will further develop existing layouts within our corporate design framework, handle typesetting and image editing, and ensure that designs become print-ready products through final artwork preparation, preflight analysis, and print data creation. Coordination with printers and external service providers is also part of the job. Basic knowledge of animation and video editing can also be applied to suitable projects.
You
work a 40-hour week and have 30 days of vacation .
You can work remotely up to three days a week . On the remaining days, your workplace awaits you in Cologne-Marienburg – near the Rhine and in a beautiful Art Nouveau villa.
Teamwork:
You are part of our corporate communications team and work closely with colleagues from different communication disciplines.
Short daily stand-ups, a shared weekly meeting, and a monthly meeting of the entire company communications team ensure close communication. We support each other, coordinate easily, and value a strong team spirit.
Appreciation:
Your time with us falls in a special year: our anniversary year . This means many exciting communication opportunities and projects await you, which you can actively help shape.
With us, you take responsibility for your projects – from design to finished production – and contribute your professional experience independently.
Profile and Contact:
You have excellent knowledge of Adobe InDesign and solid experience with Photoshop and Illustrator . You are also proficient in PowerPoint and have a good eye for design and typography. Your experience in typesetting , artwork preparation, prepress, and print production is particularly important to us . You know what's crucial for print-ready files, production workflows, and various printing and finishing processes. Basic knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro is a plus.
They work independently and carefully, keep an eye on deadlines and quality, and at the same time enjoy being part of a communicative team.
Sounds like a good match? Then we look forward to getting to know you.
