Description
We're looking for a talented, hands-on Graphic Designer to maximise sales across all departments by bringing exceptional design to life across our digital and print channels. You'll work closely with the Design Lead, producing high-quality work that adheres to Mighty Ape's brand standards — from website graphics and packaging through to signage and branded materials. Essential * Strong print and graphic design skills — from concept through to production-ready files * Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) * Experience with print procurement — quoting, pre-press and quality control * Solid understanding of web design and digital asset creation * Strong eye for detail with the ability to work across multiple briefs at pace * Understanding of brand guidelines and how to apply them consistently Nice to have * Ecommerce or retail design experience * Packaging design experience * Design qualification or equivalent Website design (~40%) * Design website graphics for Sales, Marketing and Content teams — rotisseries, text features, email images and other graphics as required * Deliver high-quality, on-brand assets for upcoming sales, campaigns and content editors Print design (~50%) * Design and manage production of physical goods packaging for home brand products (Mighty Ape, Ape Basics, Ape Style, Gorilla Rigs, Gorilla Gaming) * Manage the print procurement process — quoting, briefs, file production, pre-press and quality control * Office stationery — business cards, letterhead, invoices and promotional material * Office and warehouse signage including safety and customer-facing signage * Branded distribution materials — courier satchels, boxes, cartons and more * Presentation documents — Terms of Trade, supplier presentations, H&S induction booklets Brand guardianship (~10%) * Help manage and maintain brand resources — logo packs, style guides and brand guidelines for internal and external use * Support keeping brand assets up to date as the brand evolves * Free Primate subscription * Team member discount * Annual book allowance * Health Insurance subsidy * NZ's favourite destination for games, tech, toys & more * Collaborative, energetic team culture * Real ownership and scope to make an impact * Fun team events, social squad & more
Responsibilities
