Modern Printers are one of the leading print companies in the South East. With over 65 years’ experience we are proud to be a family business servicing the Kilkenny and greater areas. We now have an opportunity to hire a Graphic Designer to join our team of designers.
Working with the most up to date Adobe Creative Suite software you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients from corporate to public sector on a variety of design projects. You will develop your skills in all aspects of the design to print process and will get the opportunity to work on a large variety of products to include: self-published books, corporate print material, signage and promotional products, digital adverts and vehicle wraps to name a few.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate is an all-round designer with digital and traditional skillsets together with the capability to be creative and also work to brand guidelines when required.

• A minimum of two years relevant experience in a Graphic Design position
• Relevant third level qualification
• Experience designing large documents for example annual reports, yearbooks etc
• Previous experience working in a print environment would be a distinct advantage
• Previous experience in digital design would be an advantage
• Work experience in a fast-paced customer focused environment
• Demonstrated experience in developing strong working relationships with internal and external customers
• Expend good time management and multitasking skills to ensure that tasks get completed on time. Think ahead. We are looking for someone to perform all jobs adhering to the highest quality standards and in the most efficient manner.
