Creative Rock Packaging Design Studio has an exciting new opportunity for a graphic designer with a strong background in flexible packaging print design.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A strong understanding of creating solutions for consumable products in various packaging formats including stand up / preformed zip bags, roll stock/film, labels, boxes, retail store flyers etc.
• Preparing final print ready files for flexo, litho and digital print processes.
• Strong knowledge in creating & working with flexible packaging die lines.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, Microsoft Word & PowerPoint
• Excellent written, verbal communication and editing skills. French is an asset.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Works well in a fast-paced environment, is well organized with strong time management skills.
• A positive attitude, friendly and fun to work with.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• Completion of an accredited Graphic Design program

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 5 years + of experience in Graphic Design & Print in the food industry.
• Minimum 3 years + of experience in packaging design

• Develop & deliver creative graphic design solutions, from concept through final print production files, for major national foods brands - ensuring alignment with client objectives and adherence to manufacturing requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all Canadian packaging standards and food labelling regulations including front of pack (FOP) guidelines.
• Support projects by executing creative updates, revising existing art files, preforming colour corrections, and adapting designs to meet established brand guidelines.
• Photography, retouching and color correcting images for print production.
• Prepare final files for print production including flexo, litho and digital print processes.
• Collaborate with customer sales, marketing & Quality Control departments.
• Participate in briefs, meetings, and present concepts.
