JOB SUMMARY

Valcraft is seeking a motivated Graphic Designer/Packaging Specialist to join our team. We have an opening for a career-minded graphic artist with significant experience in all aspects of art production in an offset and digital print environment. The ideal candidate will be an expert in using standard Mac and PC graphics software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. as well as strong troubleshooting experience in dealing with customer-supplied files. A thorough understanding of offset printing, colour management, variable data printing, and digital printing is a definite asset. This full-time position is well suited to a self-motivated individual with a desire to work with a team of professionals whose goal is printing excellence and customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• At least 2-3 years of experience in graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects.
• Proficiency in graphic design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of design principles and typography.
• Video editing skills with tools like Canva or Premiere Pro.
• Familiarity with printing and production processes.
• Experience with basic HTML/CSS and web design using Wix
• Professional experience designing for both print and digital with a well-developed understanding of the technical differences between the two.
• Understanding of product development, supplier relations, and customization is a plus.
