Description

OVERVIEW

The Park is seeking a skilled and creative Mid-Level Graphic Designer to join our growing team. This
role is ideal for a designer with a strong eye for layout, color, and storytelling who thrives in a
collaborative, fast-paced environment. You’ll play a key role in designing engaging visual content that
supports our children’s ministry curriculum, volunteer resources, media, and events. The ideal candidate
is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about using design to make faith-based content
approachable, fun, and meaningful for kids and families.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience
    o 3–6 years of professional graphic design experience (agency, nonprofit, education,
    ministry, or similar settings preferred). Proven experience managing teams, shoot
    schedules, and production workflows.
    o Demonstrated portfolio of work that shows strong design thinking, layout, and visual

storytelling.

  • Skills

o Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
o Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout for both print and digital.
o Comfortable working within brand systems while also contributing fresh creative ideas.

o Ability to manage deadlines and feedback across multiple projects.

  • Attributes

o Strong communicator and team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
o Flexible, resourceful, and able to work both independently and on a team.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NOT REQUIRED)

  • Experience designing for children’s content or family-focused brands.
  • Motion graphics or video editing skills.
Responsibilities
  • Design curriculum support materials, teaching visuals, and activity guides for various age

groups.

  • Create graphics for print, digital, social media, packaging, and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with writers, curriculum specialists, and video editors to bring teaching concepts to

life visually.

  • Maintain and evolve The Park’s visual identity across formats, ensuring clarity, consistency, and

brand alignment.

  • Prepare files for print and digital delivery, ensuring high production quality.
  • Support multiple projects at a time with attention to deadlines, feedback cycles, and creative

standards.
