Description As Graphic Designer/PowerPoint Specialist you will be responsible for the concept, creation & edit of high-performing engaging content for various media platforms that deliver on the company’s brand objectives as well as our clients. You’ll be a part of a forward-thinking team that ensures high-quality creative assets are delivered on time, and on brand. The Individual in this position will build upon the AVmedia Culture, Core Values and Core Purpose by always being a role model. Forge excellent relationships with Family members and key customers whenever possible. You will also be responsible for the design and operation of PowerPoint machines for the purpose of Graphics Management and Operation on-site. Key Responsibilities Graphic Design · Design brochures, flyers, signage, posters, annual reports, packaging, event materials, and other collateral. · Develop AVmedia and client brand-aligned visual elements, including logos, illustrations, and infographics, to clearly communicate messages. · Ensure print production quality and maintain vendor/printer relationships. · Maintain AVmedia and client brand integrity across all touchpoints-both digital and print. · Contribute creative concepts and present multiple design options for stakeholder review. · Ensure adherence to organizational AVmedia and client style guides and brand standards. PowerPoint Design & Operation · Work closely with AVmedia and client cross-functional teams, including marketing, development, and content creation, to deliver cohesive PowerPoint, Keynote, other presentation programs. · Create and format visually appealing, professional presentations, including developing new slides and updating existing ones. · Translate complex data and information into clear, engaging visuals and infographics that are easy for an audience to see and understand. · Incorporate graphics, animations, and other multimedia elements to enhance the presentation's impact. · Ensure all presentations adhere to AVmedia and client brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent look and feel across all materials. · Work with client on show site to edit and operate presentations and collaborate with technical team on site to ensure media is displayed as intended including but not limited to formatting and font correction. UI/UX Design · Create intuitive, user-centered designs for web and mobile applications. · Develop wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes. · Collaborate with developers to ensure design feasibility and consistency across digital platforms. · Knowledge of programs like Hubspot, Swoogo, Slido, WIX, and Flex are a plus Requirements · Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality. · Stay current on software, design trends, emerging tools, and AI-assisted creative solutions. · Travel up to 25% throughout the United States & Canada. International potentially in the future. Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Interaction Design, or related field desired. · A portfolio showcasing graphic design, presentation designs, UI/UX and print work examples. · Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and UI/UX tools such as Hubspot, Figma or Sketch is a plus. · Strong command of Microsoft PowerPoint and its advanced features, including animations and templates. · Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, visual storytelling, and layout to create impactful visuals. · Demonstrated ability to translate ideas from concept sketches to final digital and print-ready files. · Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to give/receive constructive feedback. · 3+ years of experience working with traditional media and print production. · Knowledge of basic HTML/CSS is a plus. · Knowledge of live events and audiovisual equipment is a plus but not required. · Experience within travel, hospitality, and production industry is a plus. Preferred Qualities · Strong illustrative skills for concept development. · Experience in motion graphics or video editing is a plus · Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative environment. · Creative problem solver who can bring designs to life with minimal instructions.
