POSITION SUMMARY

The Graphic Designer & Social Media Specialist is a temporary, part-time position within the Nebraska Lutheran Outdoor Ministries (NLOM) Marketing team. This position will work up to 20 hours per week to support all departments by producing high-quality graphic design and social media marketing. Working closely with the Director of Marketing, this team member plays a key role in maintaining brand consistency, audience engagement, and mission-aligned messaging during the maternity leave of our full-time Marketing & Design Manager.

• Graphic Design & Content Creation
• Design and produce high-quality materials for print and digital media
• Create branded content to support NLOM’s programs, events, and fundraising initiatives
• Design custom camp store apparel and branded merchandise
• Ensure all designs consistently align with NLOM’s brand identity and standards
• Social Media Management
• Develop and publish engaging content (4–5 posts per week) across key platforms (primarily Facebook and Instagram)
• Monitor analytics and trends to guide content creation and improve engagement
• Maintain a consistent voice and visual presence aligned with NLOM’s mission and values
• Photography & Videography
• Capture and edit photos and short-form video content at NLOM events and programs
• Organize and archive photo and video assets for future use
• General Duties
• Maintain the marketing content calendar in collaboration with the Director of Marketing
• Assist with other communications-related tasks as assigned by the Director of Marketing and/or Executive Director
  Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
  Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
