Job Summary:
The Graphic Designer applies creativity and expertise in graphic design to develop concepts and execute designs across multiple digital and print platforms. They will support the Surescripts brand by delivering high quality designs aligned to the brand visual identity. The Graphic Designer will work closely with colleagues to ensure that the creative brief is fully explored and delivered to the highest standards. This is a terrific opportunity for a designer with both print and digital experience to join a talented team within a successful and growing healthcare tech company.

Responsibilities:

  • Create strategic and inspiring design work from concept to completion.
  • Projects will include but are not limited to digital and print advertising, infographics, social media graphics, environmental / display design, product sales collateral, videos, animation / motion graphics, design for corporate events, and presentations.
  • Review creative briefs to understand direction, messaging, audience, and project scope.
  • Participate and/or lead meetings with stakeholders who have graphic design needs to understand the purpose and goal of the project. Listen to stakeholders and offer design suggestions.
  • Produce drafts for review by stakeholders and make revisions based on the feedback received.
  • Collaborate with the internal client through project completion, delivering a high quality, effective product that satisfies the needs of the stakeholder / business.
  • Function as a steward of Surescripts brand visual identity by consistently implementing and communicating standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, including writers and digital marketers, to execute creative assets.
  • Effectively utilize internal tools for project management and design creation. Understand deliverables and meet deadlines.
  • Prepare finished documents for print or online publishing and coordinate directly with vendors as needed.
  • Function as a team player and thought partner to stakeholders and within the team.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • 2+ years of professional experience working as a Graphic Designer.
  • Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Fine Arts / Bachelors in Graphic Design or related experience.
  • Able to share a solid portfolio that shows your ability to solve design problems and communicate ideas clearly.
  • Experience in print and digital.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially PowerPoint and Word.
  • Curiosity and a love for creative problem solving.
  • Willingness to incorporate AI into design as appropriate and willingness to experiment and explore new ways to use AI.
  • Works well in a team environment where ideas are shared in relation to current or future projects.
  • Able to graciously take feedback on their work product as well as explain the why behind design decisions.
  • Solid verbal and written communication experience in working and participating in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects.
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and push designs to next level.
  • Deadline driven and the ability to utilize internal tools that help with graphic design project management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of visual, interaction, and branding trends.
  • A strong understanding of visual hierarchy, composition, and typography.
  • Strong illustration / infographic design skills.
  • Experience with motion and video design.
  • Exposure to user experience design.
  • Experience with AI-driven powered design tools.
  • Experience with project management software like Aha!
  • Experience working in an agile team.
