Are you a visual storyteller with a passion for design and an appreciation for the wine industry? Van Loveren Vineyards is looking for an energetic, highly motivated and creative in-house Graphic Designer preferably at our offices in Robertson. The successful candidate will bring fresh and creative ideas to elevate our brands through compelling visuals, supporting multiple departments from label design, websites, social media visuals, marketing materials to digital content and packaging.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree / Diploma in Graphic Design, visual communication or related field;
• At least 3 years’ experience in design / advertising industry;
• Previous experience in wine/ spirits industry or retail design will be advantageous;
• Knowledge of print specs, colour profiles, pantones and press-ready file preparation;
• Knowledge of design trends, social media, photography, digital skills, power point presentations;
• Proficiency in Adobe creative suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop essential);
• Brand identity and consistency with the ability to create content across different products and departments;
• Can prioritise and multi-task across all department projects and requests;
• Work under pressure and deadline driven;
• Excellent communication skills, clear concise, confident and who actively brings fresh ideas to the table and thrives in a collaborative environment;
• This is an office-based position and not remotely or hybrid, preferably at the Robertson offices

• Design and produce digital work for brands and across departments, such as but not limited to labels, brochures, POS, websites, catalogues, packaging, signage, social media, web visuals etc;
• On-con support with materials, menu designs, table talkers etc;
• Updating and editing current materials;
• Handle minor photography, video editing and liaising with supplier for media creations;
• Collaboration and communication with internal teams to create content for campaigns and events;
• Creation and distribution of monthly newsletters & ad hoc flyers;
• Manage and prioritise design tasks to meet internal deadlines;
• Oversee print and production processes liaising with suppliers;
• Record keeping of template library of all brands and allocations to departments
