Title: Graphics & 3D Designer - Freelance
Department: Creative Studio
Reports to: SVP Creative Studio
Location: New York City Area
Status: Freelance Role - August 2025- November 2025 (Est. 30 hours a week)
Hourly Rate: $75-$100/Hour
Note that this range is representative of earning potential and actual pay will be based on skills, experience, and/or geographic location.

JOB SUMMARY

The 3D and Graphic Designer will design retail and/or brand experiences across multiple environments, including retail, wholesale environments, as well as temporary and permanent installations.
Responsibilities:

KNOWLEDGE

Qualified applicants must have at least 3-6 years of experience in graphic design, environmental design, retail design, interior design, or exhibit design.

SKILLS

Proficient in:

• Sketchup, 3ds Max
• Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat)
• Microsoft 365

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 3-6 years of 3D retail design background
• Knowledge of retail or wholesale, in a creative/design environment
• Experience with process, design, and management capabilities

• Creating high-quality presentations, visualizations, and renderings for Winston Creative to present to clients and for production purposes. This includes:
• 3D design (SketchUp, 3ds Max)
• 2D graphic design
• Demonstrate a strong design sense in each project, incorporating typography, space, measurement, form, volume, and color.
• Take design direction from clients and creative team members.
• Contribute creatively on internal and client projects including inspiration and design on an as need basis.
• Work effectively as part of a larger team under time constraints and meet deadlines.
• Assist the team in maintaining the production and execution schedule.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Present complex ideas and designs professionally and strategically to internal partners and clients during design meetings via face-to-face, Zoom, and email marketing.
