About the Role: The Graphic Arts Team Lead leads a team of graphic arts professionals providing support to a federal agency's design unit. In this position you will manage and oversee the production of high-quality printed and digital materials and ensure timely delivery of projects. This role requires both hands-on design expertise and the ability to provide guidance, review, and mentorship to the team while collaborating to achieve professional and visually compelling results. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide guidance on design, layout, and production, including file maintenance and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and meet project standards. Direct and review work on various tasks, including electronic, print, displays, exhibits, and presentations. Ensure the quality and timeliness of all deliverables. Communicate assignments, project milestones, deadlines, and actionable items to the team while providing advice on best practices, work methods, and solutions to challenges. Design and produce printed and digital materials, including newsletters, brochures, pamphlets, posters, exhibits, banners, cards, presentations, templates, and electronic displays for web and other media. Support design and production efforts by performing finishing tasks such as mounting, trimming, folding, and assembly, while utilizing Microsoft Office applications to assist with production and administrative needs. Ensure team productivity, including graphic artists and photographers. Communicate effectively with internal and external clients at all organizational levels. Stay current with graphic arts and printing technologies and recommend process or equipment improvements as needed. Requirements Required Qualifications: Citizenship and Background: Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a public trust clearance. Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts/design. Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in graphic arts/design; Minimum 1 year experience managing, supervising or leading a team of two or more employees in a graphic design work environment. Required Skills and Abilities: Proficiency with high-end desktop publishing applications such as Adobe Creative Suite/Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) Experience producing corporate print materials (posters, brochures, pamphlets) Strong layout, quality control, and revision skills Experience working on a Macintosh platform Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) HeiTech Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
