Dutchie Dirt-Moving Ltd. is looking to hire a crushing/ gravel pit equipment operators to join its team!
Dutchie Dirt-Moving is an excavation and gravel crushing operation which has been serving the agriculture sector since 2001. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating and servicing equipment, be willing to participate in the company’s safety program, be a team player and is willing to communicate effectively with others. Gravel pit experience is a MUST. We offer a health benefit program after the 3 month probation period and overtime pay is available.
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating Gravel Pit Equipment such as crushers, conveyors and screeners, as well as heavy equipment such as loaders, backhoes, and graders. This position involves working on various construction projects and requires expertise working in a gravel pit.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment including gravel crushers, conveyors, screeners, and loaders.
- Perform tasks such as crushing, screening, digging, bulldozing, and building as per project requirements
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery
- Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors
Qualifications
- Experience in horizontal drilling, grader operation, heavy equipment operation
- Proficiency in crushing equipment operation, loader operation.
- Ability to dig, bulldoze, and build as needed
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
- Familiarity with heavy equipment maintanence is advantagious.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.76-$37.01 per hour
