GRC ANALYST:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a GRC Analyst for a 13-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

GRC ANALYST - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The GRC Analyst will be responsible for ensuring internal control testing is conducted effectively and efficiently based on the requirements of the 2nd line functions. This role is crucial for maintaining compliance and enhancing governance frameworks within the organization.

GRC ANALYST - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Advanced knowledge of governance, risk, and control procedures
  • Prior audit experience or quality control testing experience
  • Proficient in MS Excel (formulas)
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member
  • Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 5 years of relevant experience (Risk, Audit, Compliance preferred)

GRC ANALYST – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience in wholesale operations
  • Familiarity with Bank testing methodology
  • Skill in using analytical software tools
  • Understanding of TDS business operations and processes
  • Experience with MS PowerPoint, Visio, and Word
Responsibilities
  • Lead and assist in the development of testing programs to detect gaps in internal processes/controls
  • Conduct ongoing testing of key controls/requirements for all businesses
  • Analyze, report, and track exceptions to resolution
  • Assess Key Risk Indicators to enhance the program
  • Develop action/remediation plans for internal control gaps
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and realize efficiencies in testing
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop or enhance key controls
