Description

Misty Valley Growers, home of Fragro™ Herbs, is a family-run greenhouse in Chilliwack, BC. We specialize in producing high-quality potted herbs for retail garden centres. With deep farming roots and a focus on sustainability, we’re looking for a dedicated Greenhouse Grower to join our team.

What You’ll Do

  • Monitor plants daily for pests, disease, and nutrient needs
  • Adjust irrigation, fertilization, and climate controls
  • Assist with propagation and crop scheduling
  • Prepare pots, trays, and soil mixes for production
  • Ensure plants meet quality standards for health and appearance
  • Maintain accurate crop records and provide reports
  • Lead and guide seasonal staff in potting, trimming, and plant care
  • Train employees on best practices to ensure efficiency and consistency

What We’re Looking For

  • Knowledge of plant biology and greenhouse production practices
  • Experience with irrigation, climate control, and propagation methods
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Leadership experience required: proven ability to supervise, train, and motivate staff
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Job Details

  • Job Type: Seasonal, Fixed-Term Contract
  • Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Pay: TBD based on experience
  • Location: On-site in Chilliwack, BC
