GREENHOUSE SUPERVISOR

We are Plant Care, and we specialise in installing and maintaining interior plant displays across the UK. We install everything from small desktop plants, right up to 6 metre indoor trees, and then carry out ongoing maintenance of these displays.
We are looking for an attentive, well-organised, focused and hardworking individual to fill the role of Greenhouse Operative.

MAIN DUTIES OF THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

· Potting up new plant displays ready for installation, whilst adhering to the high visual standard that we strive for
· Cleaning and preparing planted displays ready of installation
· Receiving in and processing all deliveries from plants, to pots, to equipment etc
· General housekeeping of the greenhouse, warehouse and it’s environs
· Liaising closely with the despatch Co-ordinator regarding upcoming jobs and work schedules
· Occasionally helping on customer sites with installations

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED TO SUCCESSFULLY FULFIL THIS ROLE:

· Ability to follow instructions, prioritise and execute tasks efficiently and effectively
· This is a physical role with a fair amount of lifting, so a good level of physical fitness is helpful
· Basic knowledge of interior plants advantageous, but training provided
