Darvonda Nurseries Ltd. is looking to add to our greenhouse team in Mundare, AB.
The Greenhouse Worker will be performing affiliated tasks in any of the following departments: Seeding line, sticking line, transplanting line, production work, order pulling, bulk picking.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prepare soil; plant bulbs, seeds and cuttings; and transplant seedlings and rooted cuttings
Water plants - position and regulate greenhouse irrigation systems
Transplanting, grading flowers and plants to prepare them for sale
Clean working areas
Provide information to customers
On-the-job training is provided.
Progression to supervisory positions, such as greenhouse supervisor, is possible with experience.
