Description The Greenskeeper 1 is an entry level position that performs routine manual labor on the golf course, performs semi-skilled labor involved in golf course maintenance and construction work; operates small power hand tools; operates walk behind greens mowers. Duties/Responsibilities: To include but not limited to the following: String trimmer operation around, greens, aprons, tees, trees, irrigation components, etc. Removes debris, cleans, weeds landscape beds. Assists in cultural practices as in, top dressing, verticutting, aerifying, fertilizing, and chemical applications. Rakes bunkers and assists in the maintenance of Hand waters areas when needed. Maintains fuel and fluid levels in assigned equipment, and returns the equipment washed and fluids “topped off” back to the maintenance building. Requirements Required Skills/Abilities: Education and Experience: N/A Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, or pull 75 lbs. Ability to work for prolonged periods of time exposed to the weather and elements. Availability to work weekends and holidays.
