REQUIREMENTS

  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Energy, or a related field.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in managing grid connection processes and working with Distribution or Transmission System Operators (TSO/DNO), preferably within the energy or infrastructure sectors.
  • You possess strong technical expertise in grid-sharing agreements, evacuation infrastructure, and risk assessment, with a proven ability to coordinate across teams like EPC and procurement.
  • You are highly detail-oriented, proactive in identifying and mitigating project risks, and passionate about driving successful energy project outcomes.
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work in fast-paced environments. Fluency in Portuguese and English is required; additional languages are a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and Control: Oversee and report on the progress of the grid connection process, with a strong focus on the design and execution of evacuation infrastructure.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Manage communication and coordination with Distribution and Transmission System Operators (TSOs/DNOs) to secure grid connections for generation facilities.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical input during negotiations at connection nodes to successfully secure Grid Sharing Agreements.
  • Schedule Coordination: Prepare and manage connection schedules in collaboration with the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) team, and proactively alert the Project Manager of potential delays or risks related to key equipment delivery.
  • Impact & Risk Assessment: Assess the impact of planning or execution delays, especially concerning shared infrastructure, and propose mitigation strategies while monitoring risks along the project’s critical path.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the Project Manager with administrative processes related to evacuation infrastructure and flag any issues from PV, wind, or BESS systems that may impact timelines.
  • Cost Estimation: Support the Procurement team in estimating and validating costs related to evacuation infrastructure, ensuring technically optimal and cost-effective solutions.
  • Technical Due Diligence: Contribute to the technical due diligence process by evaluating infrastructure readiness and compliance
