You will be a key player in the electrical engineering team, focusing on grid simulation, calculation, and infrastructure. You will work collaboratively with various departments to execute projects, contributing to the development of a competitive portfolio and leading the energy transition.

How You’ll Make an Impact / Responsibilities

  • Grid Simulation and Calculation: Lead the simulation, analysis, and modelling of grid systems from concept to detailed design, ensuring they meet application requirements.
  • Technical Consultation: Provide expert technical consultation and direction to project teams, particularly in the areas of grid infrastructure and simulation.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct rigorous testing and validation of grid systems, including real-time simulation and hardware testing.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze test data using advanced statistical software to ensure the reliability and performance of grid systems.
  • Project Contribution: Actively contribute to focused project teams to support technology and product development objectives, particularly in the area of grid applications.
  • Collaboration: Foster a collaborative work ethic within the team and the organization, promoting knowledge sharing and innovation.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with multiple functional groups, including Business Areas and Global Innovation Centers, to ensure alignment and successful project execution.

What You Bring / Skills, Capabilities

  • Educational Background: University degree in electrical engineering or a related field (Master/Diploma) or comparable qualification.
  • Experience: 5+ years of work experience in the field of grid infrastructure, with a strong focus on grid simulation and calculation.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Expertise in designing, modelling, and simulating grid systems.
  • Proficiency in specifying and implementing control strategies for grid systems.
  • Strong knowledge of grid infrastructure and related technologies.
  • Good knowledge of grid inertia calculation and the challenges of renewable energy sources (RES) penetration.
  • Up-to-date with new technologies and keen on innovation projects.
  • In-depth understanding of grid codes and their application in grid infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with real-time simulation.
