Description Southern Foodservice Management, a national contract food service company, is looking to hire a Grill Cook for our Voya location in Atlanta, GA. The schedule is Monday – Thursday. Some Fridays and evenings will be required on occasion. The shift schedule is 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM. There is no bus line; transportation is required. The pay range is $22.00-$23.00 per hour. Duties and Responsibilities Food Preparation & Service Operate the Grill Station during meal periods, preparing and serving grill menu items. Assist with food preparation, cooking sides, and other items as assigned. Set up and stock the Grill Station, Deli Station, and Salad Bar for service by the prescribed timeline. Cook required meal items according to the daily menu, ensuring correct internal temperatures and safe holding temperatures. Maintain accurate food temperature logs for all prepared items. Refill food items during service and ensure stations are maintained throughout the meal period. Provide friendly, attentive service while working on the serving lines. Break down and clean service areas after each meal period. Safety & Compliance Follow all food safety and handling guidelines, including TB MED and HACCP standards. Adhere to proper safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct duties in a professional manner and uphold Southern Foodservice’s code of conduct. Follow direction from management. Cleaning Assignment Clean the Grill Station and equipment after each meal period. Assist with daily kitchen and serving area cleaning as directed. Wash dishes, wash floors, and collect and dispose of garbage as needed. Additional Support Assist with catering events, including some evening shifts. Help with new menu ideas when requested. Support meal production, service, and dining facility cleaning tasks assigned by Supervisors. Other Duties All staff members are also responsible for other duties or tasks that are assigned by the Assistant Managers or Supervisors, as a part of any “Job” or “Position” assigned during a normal work schedule. Team members may be assigned to support the meal production, service and cleaning after the meal or the dining facility.
