Overview Big Buns Damn Good Burgers is hiring a Grill Cook to prepare burgers and other menu items in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The role focuses on cooking food to quality standards, maintaining cleanliness and food safety, and working closely with the kitchen team to ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time. Responsibilities Grill burgers and prepare menu items according to recipes and standards Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked workstation Follow food safety and sanitation procedures Work efficiently during busy shifts and coordinate with team members Help ensure consistent food quality and presentation Qualifications Able to communicate effectively in the primary language of the work location (verbal and written). Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and all holidays. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift) Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40–50 lbs (e.g., trays, dish racks, furniture) Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and twisting Manual dexterity to handle dishes, glassware, and cleaning tools safely Ability to work in a hot, wet, and noisy environment (kitchen and dining areas) Ability to navigate crowded spaces while carrying items safely Visual and auditory ability to identify spills, hazards, and guest needs At Big Buns, we take pride in using great ingredients and obsess over the small details that make our products stand out.
