Description
Schedule: Monday through Friday, starting at 8:00 AM until close. Flexibility is required as shift end times may vary based on business needs. Pay: Competitive pay based on experience. We value your background and skills, and compensation will reflect your level of expertise. Works with the Ground Beef Team to make sure product is produced correctly and in a timely manner. Essential Duties: Operates a Formax Machine, Hollymatic, Vemag, grinders, and packaging machines Counts all finished cases and records them on appropriate logs and makes sure all product is packed according to specifications Separates rework from paper and places them in bins for rework and tracks all weights of rework product and records on appropriate forms. Cleans around work areas. Assists in all other areas of ground beef production line, including equipment setup and breakdown, box making, casing, labeling, stacking, weighing, recordkeeping, etc. Follows HACCAP regulations, Shamrock Policies, and safety procedures Assists in all other areas of ground beef production line, including equipment setup and breakdown, box making, casing, labeling, stacking, weighing, recordkeeping, etc. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED 1 to 3 months related experience, preferred. Must have the ability of using cutting utensils and running an electric pallet jack or forklift. Must be able to understand all policies, procedures, instructions, rules and regulations (including all safety training and safety information) associated with this position which are written in English Physical Demands Regularly standing and walking Ability to reach and handle objects, tools, or controls Sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
