Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their buying experience Stocks merchandise and rotates, stamps, marks, or tags price on merchandise Performs merchandise inventory as directed Sets up displays and stocks shelves, coolers, counters, bins, tables, freezers, containers, or trays with new merchandise. Close or open the store Stay up-to-date with product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers Maintain a clean work space Follow all safety and health guidelines Other duties as assigned Guide customers utilizing Seaside Markets core values of Excellent Customer Service, Quality Products, and Community Core Values: Customer-Service Excellence: Strive to exceed customer expectations by providing personalized and exceptional service. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Age 18 or older to handle alcoholic beverage transactions (California state law). Previous customer service experience preferred Language and Math Ability: Read, write, and perform basic math accurately. Food Handler Certification required. (Available upon hire.)
