OVERVIEW

A Grocery Clerk is responsible for providing prompt, courteous and knowledgeable service to our customers. As well as receiving, stocking and facing of grocery products and maintaining general cleanliness throughout the store and back room.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR QUALIFIED CANADATES WHO HAVE:

• Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting. Demands - Standing, walking, reaching, bending, twisting, ability to carry/lift 50 lbs.
• Attention to detail in all areas of work
• Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
• Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Repetitive Action- Unload Grocery deliveries, stock, rotate and block merchandise in all grocery cases, keep department organized and clean, operate and clean equipment and tools.
• Flexibility: Grocery clerks might be asked to work days, evenings and weekends.

EXPERIENCE:

Good news! No previous experience is required. We provide you with training to set you up for success!

AVAILABILITY:

Looking to hire 3 individuals part time and full time options available. Typical shifts are 8-4:30 and 9:30-6. Weekend rotation is also required.

• Engage and interact with customers to create a positive shopping experience
• Comply fully with all health and safety procedures
• Ensure proper facing of products
• Fill products to the shelf in grocery, dairy and frozen isles. Ensure new product is put in the correct location with accurate tags
• Handle product damages and credits according to company policy
• Conduct carry-outs for customers upon request
