Job Details Job Location: Castle Rock, CO 80108 Salary Range: $17.00 - $19.00 Hourly Tony’s Market Job Description Title Grocery Lead Department(s) Grocery Reports to Department Manager Job summary Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and well-organized working and shopping environment by receiving and storing sales floor merchandise. Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with merchandise and arrange merchandise displays to attract customers. Summary of essential job functions Immediately greets all customers and ensures customer satisfaction Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise. Receive, open, unpack and stock sales floor merchandise. Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles. Compare invoices to items actually received to ensure that shipments are correct. In Managers absence maintain department/company standards. Answer customers' questions about merchandise and advise customers on products. Know par levels of merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished. Pack customer purchases in bags or cartons. Transport packages to customers' vehicles. Take count of inventory during monthly inventory times and as requested. Perform cashiering duties. Complete specials projects and other duties as assigned Standard job functions Upholds the 7 guiding principles of the company Support goals and vision of Store Director Consistently presents a professional personal image and uphold the company’s uniform policy Maintain safe, clean and well-organized working and shopping environment Comply with all regulatory rules and regulations including HACCP, OSHA, Dept. of Labor, Weights and Measures and local food and sanitation laws. Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends Timely and consistent attendance Knowledge, skills and abilities required Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and use organizational skills 1-2 Years grocery experience preferred.
