Description Looking for a part time Grocery Specialist that can work evenings and every other weekend. This position works to ensure store shelves are stocked, clean, and meet company standards. They provide excellent customer service and contribute to store profitability by managing product inventory and promoting Mackenthun's Exceptional Experience. Key Responsibilities Stock, Rotate, and Clean Products Ensure products are stocked and rotated. Maintain organized and neat shelves and displays. Regularly clean shelves, displays, and storage areas. Customer Service Address customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner. Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and effectively. Assist customers with product selection and provide information on promotions or store offerings. Ensure Store Safety and Hygiene Standards Follow all safety protocols and ensure the store environment is safe for customers and staff. Regularly inspect store areas for potential hazards and address them immediately. Adhere to store hygiene standards, including proper sanitation of high-traffic areas and product handling areas. Minimize Product Loss Due to Mishandling Ensure proper handling and storage of products. Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or issues related to product loss. Implement best practices for stocking and handling products. Assist with Team Training and Support Promotional Events Help train new team members on product knowledge, store processes, and customer service standards. Support the execution of promotional events. General Store Maintenance Tasks Assist with setting up store displays, rearranging products, and restocking inventory as needed. Assist in unloading and stocking products from deliveries. Requirements Minimum age: 16 Basic math skills and communication skills in English. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Interest in food and customer service, with a positive attitude. Stock experience preferred but not required. Working Conditions and Physical Demands Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and pushing/pulling (up to 2750 lbs). Ability to work in varied temperatures, with exposure to noise and cleaning chemicals. Ability to work evenings and weekends.
