Description Good Harvest Market, Waukesha County's largest independently owned natural and organic grocer, is currently seeking to hire a part-time Grocery Stocker Clerk. Must be available for daytime shifts during the week. The right candidate must be capable of being self-motivated, responsible, and staying focused on the tasks of the job as expected without much guidance. This is a physical job, so the ability to constantly stand, bend, squat, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly is important. Our clerks also need to be able to provide excellent customer service with a smile. Our grocery department provides a full range of products with a focus on organics, local sourcing, special diets and sustainability. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to: Providing exceptional customer service Stocking and facing inventory Cleaning the department Safe operation of the corrugated cardboard baler (only for stockers who are 18+ years old) Safe handling of pallets and pallet jacks Requirements Candidates we will consider must meet the following qualifications: Excellent customer service and communication skills Availability meets the required needs as posted within the job description Ability to be independently productive Tolerance for repetitive work Strong work ethic Passion for natural and organic foods Physical Qualifications: Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly Ability to stand for 4+ hours at a time Environmental/Physical Conditions: Constant walking, squatting, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting.
