Triple A Cheese values high ethical standards and personal integrity of its employees. The Grocery Store Supervisor is responsible for facilitating and supervising daily operations at a store to make sure that employees work together effectively to make sales and contribute to shop upkeep.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train and assist employees
  • Open & Close and preparing the store
  • Greet customers with a friendly attitude and assist them with their deli orders
  • Recommending, slicing, weighing, packaging and pricing meats and cheeses
  • Prepare and package deli items following food safety guidelines
  • Manage staff scheduling within your store, ensuring coverage throughout store business hours, employee vacations, time off, and absences.
  • Seek ways to better promote the store, the product line and service within the store
  • Maintain oversight of store, staff, costs and pricing, working with leadership to manage and stay within budgets allocated to your store
  • Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, implement purchasing plans and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals
  • Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times.
  • Hire and train as needed to ensure adequate personnel is on hand to provide outstanding customer service
  • Work with leadership to develop and implement measurable improvements to processes
  • Purchase orders and manage inventory on hand
  • Any other duties requested by Management

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1-2 years experience as a grocery/ store supervisor
  • Experience using Deli machines and knowledge of Deli counter
  • Proactive in-store planning skills
  • Self-motivated leadership
  • Interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong sales abilities
  • Customer service skills
  • Organization skills
  • Ability to operate basic business software

Hours of Work 8am - 4pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
