Job Details Job Location: McCall, ID 83638 Position Type: Winter Seasonal Job Category: Mountain Operations Job Summary: In the grooming department, you will be part of the team operating snow cats at night safely and efficiently. We strive for a top quality and safe snow surface that exceeds our guests' expectations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Safe operation of a Pisten Bully 400 snowcat including: Daily checkout and inspection of machines. Correct start-up and shutdown procedures. Tiller and Blade operation. Efficient operating practices. Learn the necessary skills to maintain ski runs around the mountain: Be familiar with Brundage Mtn. trail system. Grooming theory and techniques. Understand changing snow and weather conditions. Fill out daily grooming log. Qualifications Job Qualifications: Highschool diploma or equivalent. Excellent communication skills. Previous grooming experience preferred. Heavy Equipment operating experience required. Strong mechanical knowledge of equipment. Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license Must be available and willing to work night shifts. We work all holidays and weekends, 40 hours per week. Other Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age Valid driver’s license Ability to drive and pass insurance driving history inquiry Must be available to work night shifts. Holidays and weekends required 40 hours per week minimum, overtime may be required Ability to ski or snowboard alpine terrain
Responsibilities
The groomer will operate snow cats at night to maintain ski runs and ensure a safe and high-quality snow surface. Responsibilities include machine inspection, operation of tiller and blade, and filling out daily logs.
