The Role (Two Levels)
Pet Groomer – You’ll deliver beautiful, safe, breed-appropriate grooms and help our salon run smoothly with warm, efficient customer care.
Senior Groomer – In addition to full-service grooming, you’ll set the bar on quality, mentor juniors, and help shape processes and the client experience in our new flagship.

What You’ll Do

• Grooming excellence: Full grooms, clips, desheds, tidy-ups, nail care and extras—handled gently, efficiently and to breed/owner preferences.
• Cat-friendly care (nice to have): Confident handling and grooming for feline clients.
• Calm, happy pets: Read body language, reduce stress, offer water/snacks and rest breaks, and escalate when something’s not right.
• Reception & bookings: Warm welcomes, check-ins/outs, phone & email enquiries, POS/payments and schedule optimisation.
• Retail support: Share product know-how and process purchases from our premium range.
• Salon standards: Keep tables, tools and spaces immaculate; follow hygiene & safety protocols.
• (Senior Groomer) Leadership: Mentor assistants/juniors, QA grooms, advise on complex coats/styles, and support training & workflow improvements.

What You’ll Bring

• Heart for animals: Patient, kind, and genuinely obsessed with dogs (and bonus points for cats).
• Skills & quals: Certificate IV in Pet Styling or equivalent hands-on salon experience or education
• Customer charm: Clear communicator who puts both pets and people at ease.
• Organised & adaptable: Strong multitasker with great time management.
• (Senior Groomer) Depth & ownership: 3–5+ years’ salon experience, advanced scissoring/hand-stripping/breed styling, confidence with challenging coats/behaviours, and a coaching mindset.

Employment Type
Casual and part-time roles available; full-time considered for the right Senior Groomer.
