JOB SUMMARY:

The Grooming Specialist will play a key role in maintaining and elevating the grooming standards across Thumbay University Hospital and Thumbay Group Staff. This position will be responsible for training staff on appropriate grooming practices, monitoring adherence to grooming guidelines, and providing ongoing support to ensure that all team members present a professional and polished appearance. The Grooming Specialist will also work closely with the HR and Training departments to integrate grooming standards into the overall staff development initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Educational Background:
  • A diploma or equivalent is required. A diploma or certification in hospitality, personal grooming, Beautician or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience:
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in a grooming, hospitality, or training role, ideally in a corporate or hospitality setting.
  • Proven experience in training staff on professional appearance and grooming standards.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to assess grooming standards effectively.
  • Ability to give constructive feedback in a professional and supportive manner.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage training schedules and documentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Personal Attributes:
  • A professional appearance with an eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with people at all levels.
  • Patient, empathetic, and able to handle sensitive issues tactfully.
  • Passionate about personal grooming and enhancing the overall staff experience.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per mont
Responsibilities
  • Grooming Training:
  • Develop and deliver training sessions focused on grooming standards, professional appearance, and hygiene for all staff members.
  • Customize training programs to fit the specific needs of different departments within Thumbay Group.
  • Ensure that all team members are aware of and understand grooming policies and expectations.
  • Grooming Monitoring:
  • Regularly assess staff grooming and appearance through routine checks to ensure compliance with Thumbay Group’s grooming standards.
  • Provide feedback to staff and managers on areas of improvement, and offer support for staff to maintain grooming standards.
  • Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for policy updates or additional training sessions.
  • One-on-One Coaching:
  • Offer personalized coaching sessions to employees who may need additional support or have difficulty adhering to grooming guidelines.
  • Foster a supportive and positive environment for staff to feel comfortable in seeking guidance on grooming matters.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Keep detailed records of grooming training sessions, attendance, and feedback.
  • Prepare regular reports for HR management on grooming compliance and effectiveness of training programs.
  • Collaboration with Management:
  • Work closely with department managers to address grooming-related concerns and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Act as a liaison between HR and other departments to promote a cohesive approach to professional grooming standards.
  • Stay Updated:
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and grooming best practices to incorporate into training materials and staff education.
