Job Description Public Attendant You are at the heart of the hotel! As a Public Attendant, you will take ownership of maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene of all public areas throughout the hotel. This role ensures guests experience a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by delivering exceptional housekeeping standards while adhering to hotel policies, brand standards, and Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements. What’s in it for you: Employee benefit card offering discounted rates in Accor worldwide Learning programs through our Academies What you will be doing: Clean and maintain all hotel public areas, including the lobby, reception, corridors, lifts, stairwells, public toilets, meeting rooms, restaurants, bars, and back-of-house areas. Vacuum, mop, sweep, dust, and polish floors and surfaces. Clean windows, mirrors, glass doors, and stainless-steel fixtures. Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste appropriately. Replenish guest amenities and consumables in public restrooms. Report maintenance issues, hazards, or damage promptly. Qualifications Your experience and skills include: Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not essential. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, punctual, and well presented. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays. Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling, prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
