Description

ABOUT US:

Munros Maintenance is a small Garden Maintenance/Landscaping business based in Dumbarton, that mainly carries out most of our work in the Helensburgh Peninsula area. The business was started by myself, Conor Munro, back in March of 2022. We offer a wide range of regular services that cover most aspects of outdoor maintenance work involved in keeping folks gardens looking their best all year round. Since beginning, the business has steadily grown to the point where we have some fantastic regular garden maintenance commitments for private homeowners, and local company ground work contracts that we maintain on a fortnightly basis. I have always prided myself on carrying out high quality work and maintaining a tight organised schedule which has contributed to seeing the business grow massively over the past year. At the moment, it is myself and one other employee, but I am looking for someone to join the team and become part of the journey in helping my business grow and keep up with demand.

IN SUMMARY, WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

In summary, we are looking for someone who loves a graft, already enjoys the thought of working outside, is consistent and honest. Experience does add some value into me considering hiring you for this position, but if you are someone who has never done this before but knows they work damn hard and always wants to learn something and get better, then that is worth more to me. I take the running of my business very seriously, so I try not to take myself too seriously so that this is a great place to work where we can all have a good laugh but get plenty of work done at the same time. Ideally, I am looking for someone who wants to commit to the job for some time to come and grow with the company. I want this to be a joyful place to work where everything is fair and folk feel valued. It is not lost on me how tough the job can be, so the more you give to me, the more I promise to give to you because that’s how I like to do things. The business is only going to grow from here, so if you feel you meet the criteria I have laid out and enjoy the thought of working in some of the most beautiful places in the area, out in the sunshine operating nice pieces of kit. This will likely be the job for you.
To find out more information about who I/we are, you can visit my website (@www.munrosmaintenance.com) which goes into a lot more detail in regards to the work we do. I also run a YouTube channel (@ConorMunro) that frequently puts out content covering the day-to-day running of the business. You will gain a much better insight into who we are and what we do if you give them a watch.
Please attach a CV when applying for the role. A cover letter goes a long way in me considering you for this position.
Thanks a lot.
Conor.
