REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience as a Groundworker (minimum 2 years preferred)
• CSCS card (essential)
• CPCS or NPORS certification for plant operation (desirable)
• Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative on site
• Good understanding of health & safety practices
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Groundworker to join our growing construction team. You will play a key role in preparing and finishing groundworks for various residential and commercial projects. The role involves both manual labour and the safe operation of plant and tools, working closely with site supervisors and other trades.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carrying out all aspects of groundworks, including excavation, drainage, kerbing, concreting, and paving
• Reading and working from site plans and drawings
• Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times
• Operating plant machinery (if suitably qualified)
• Assisting other trades as required to meet project deadlines
