OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking Groundworkers to join our team. As a Groundworker, you will play a vital role in various construction projects, across the South West, ensuring the smooth operation of groundwork activities.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in groundworks or a similar role is desirable
• Knowledge of construction techniques and materials
• Ability to operate relevant machinery safely (Competent operators only - proof of skill cards required).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.

REQUIREMENTS

• In-Date CSCS Card.
• Relevant Skills Cards (360 Excavator/Dumper/Roller/etc).
• Full UK Driving License (Own transport required initially).
• Reliability and punctuality.
  Pay rates dependant on previous experience. Rates negotiable.
  Works carried out all across the South West.
  PAYE / Self Employed (CIS) basis all considered.

• Excavating and preparing construction sites to include vegetation clearance, demolition and site strip.
• Construct concrete foundations to include; dig out, prepare sub base, setting up of temporary formworks, pour / finish concrete.
• Assisting with the installation of utilities like water and sewerage systems.
• Backfilling trenches and reinstating surfaces.
• Preparation of road surfaces to include; dig out, prepare sub-base and laying of kerbs.
• Hard landscaping to include Kerbing / Slabbing / Block Paving.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
• Operating machinery such as excavators, dumpers, rollers and compactors (Competent operators only - proof of skill cards required)
