The Position * Provide a high level of facilities support in line with our Service Specifications. * At the completion of training and induction, the Grounds Role is capable of utilising a range of complex instructions, materials and equipment to deliver a range of grounds, utility, cleaning and school officer duties to facilitate school operations in a clean, safe and aesthetically pleasant condition. * General Groundsperson/Handyperson duties (Grounds and gardens maintenance, laundry, office and public spaces) * Garden Care - spray/whipper snipper/mowing * Competent in operating general maintenance and grounds equipment and chemical handling * Responding to service requests for building maintenance * Specialised cleaning where required * Availability for a Full Time Role - Site operates 52 weeks per year The Person * Experience in a similar role - working in a grounds environment OR general facilities maintenance type role * A great work ethic and ability to learn * Physically fit, fun and able * Good communication skills with a flexible approach * Essential: Must be able to obtain a Blue Card * Hold a Current Drivers Licence * Hold full Australian Citizenship due to the secure nature of the site * For successful applicant Functional Medical with Drug and Alcohol Test is required * Q Fever Vaccination - proof of immunity or vaccination required The Benefits * 12 weeks of paid parental leave for primary carers * Access to a wide variety of training and development * Clear career paths and support to achieve your goals * Personal and site based recognition programs * Immediate access to 100+ retail discounts accessible from your mobile * Multiple salary packaging options to help your dollar go further
