JOB SUMMARY: The Groundskeeper is responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings of multi-family residential apartments. CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time, Hourly/Non-Exempt SHIFT: Monday - Friday 7 am-4 pm COMPENSATION: $17-$18/hour ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Ensure meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings. Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter daily. Assist in the preparation of market-ready units, including trash removal from vacant apartments. Assist and perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner. Assist in the cleaning of available units and models. Assist in the troubleshooting/repairing of mechanical, carpentry, and electrical problems. Report any maintenance concerns for repairs to the maintenance supervisor or property manager. Perform tasks and operate machinery in a safe manner and in compliance with safety procedures. Requirements EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED High school Diploma or GED Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
