JOB SUMMARY: Groundskeepers maintain the grounds of the property in a conscientious manner. They work with attention to detail in order to ensure the property is in top condition. If you have effective time management and a positive attitude you are an ideal candidate. Must be able to work outside in unpredictable weather as this position requires a significant amount of time outside. CLASSIFICATION: Part-Time, Hourly/Non-Exempt SHIFT: Monday - Friday 9 am-2 pm COMPENSATION: $13 per hour (Eligible for Monthly Commissions) ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Ensure meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter daily Assist in the preparation of market-ready units, including trash removal from vacant apartments Assist and perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner Assist in the cleaning of available units and models Assist in the troubleshooting/repairing of mechanical, carpentry, and electrical problems Report any maintenance concerns for repairs to the maintenance supervisor Work on-call as scheduled, weekend shifts and overtime as necessary and approved by manager Perform tasks and operate machinery in a safe manner and in compliance with safety procedures Other duties as assigned Requirements EXPERIENCE: Previous groundskeeping experience Strong communication and customer service skills Preferred Bilingual or multilingual skills BENEFITS: (Only if eligible) Medical, Dental, and Vision Supplemental Insurance available Employer paid Life, AD&D, LTD, and STD 401k Plan Paid Vacation Time Paid Sick Time Opportunity for career advancement and continued education We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status.
