Responsibilities The Grounds Maintenance typical job functions include: Pick up litter around resort Maintain Boyne Mountain's irrigation systems Cut lawn using hand, power, or riding mower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls. Utilize hand tools and landscaping maintenance equipment to maintain and improve the appearance of the resort grounds Landscape by planting grass, shrubs, and bushes Apply fertilizer to enhance growth Backpack blow walkway clear of debris Cut down tree limbs that pose a danger Trim shrubs and pull weeds Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in groundskeeping Rake, and prune grounds as needed Water plants and grass as needed Qualifications This position might be for you if: You are at least 18 years old You are available to work evenings, weekends and holidays You have a valid driver's license You enjoy working outdoors in any weather conditions You prefer a physical job that includes occasional lifting of over 50 pounds
