POWERGROUP Resources on behalf of our client, Green Thumb Landscaping is seeking a motivated and experienced Grounds Maintenance / Enhancements Crew Member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for maintaining outdoor spaces. This role reports into Operations Manager.

Our yard is located at Guelph Line and Dundas in Burlington. We are close to bus transportation, the 407 Dundas cut off is 1 km. from our yard and we are approximately 3 km. north of the QEW.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• 1-2 years relevant experience
• Preference given to residential experience (High end Residential is an asset)
• Commercial Landscape Experience is an asset
• Leadership experience is considered an asset for growth opportunities
• Confident operation of Zero Turn Mowers, Push Mowers, Walk Behind, Backpack Blowers, Line Trimmers, and other tools of the trade!
• Strong leadership, delegation, and motivation skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Manage tracking paperwork.
• A ‘G License’ with a clean abstract
• The ability to drive a Truck and Trailer with confidence.
• Ability to keep equipment in good condition and be able to do minor repairs onsite as needed.
• Candidates must be physically able to work 10-hour days on their feet, using heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

• Commercial Landscape : 1 year (preferred)
• Residential Lawn Maintenance: 1 year (required)
• Zero Turn mower: 1 year (preferred)
• Lawn Mower: 1 year (required

• Work with a team of ground maintenance crew members in performing various tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns,
• Ensure that all work is completed according to company standards and safety guidelines.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Communicate effectively with clients and management to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist with other ground maintenance tasks as needed.
• Assist with Enhancements team members when called upon (variable scheduling)

  Pay: $23.00-$24.00 per hour
